Volunteer

One of the best ways to contribute to the success and growth of Lee's Place is to donate your time, energy and resources.

Get involved with one of our organized volunteer groups

  • College Board

Members Needed! Meetings will resume this fall.

  • This volunteer group was established in the Spring of 2003 as a fundraising organization that is committed to the growth and development  of Lee's Place.  Since its inception, the College Board has been a vital and integral part of Lee's Place.   This group is compromised of volunteers from local colleges, FSU, FAMU & TCC, and their goal is to assist Lee's Place in its efforts to promote public awareness, host fundraisers that support our services, and lend assistance to the staff.
  • Friends of Lee's Place

A group of vibrant community members, who spearhead and follow through on various projects that support the mission of Lee's Place.  Friends of Lee's Place assisted in the development and promotion of our Recipes and Memories Cookbook and in developing the "Path of Memories" in our Memory Garden and selling engraved bricks for the path.  This dedicated group of volunteers often work independently and are able to select which projects they want to undertake and how much time they are willing to invest. Each member brings enthusiasm and a can do attitude!
